Introduction:

This CPD session will look at a range of strategies to help schools work more closely and effectively with their parents with a specific focus on health and wellbeing. We will look at barriers to parent participation and how to reach those disengaged families. You will leave the session with an action plan to take back to your school.

The training will help you to:

  • Help you identify and overcome barriers to parental engagement
  • Learn from best practice case studies
  • Identify key strategies to form an action plan to take back to school
  • Identify methods to measure the impact of improved parental engagement
