Make A Difference Challenge

Go Givers have an exciting project for KS2 children that will provide a real-life meaningful context for SMSC learning and understanding British values as well as supporting Pupil Voice and Personal Development.

It is a child-led, active citizenship project called the Make a Difference Challenge that supports pupils in identifying, researching and addressing a social or environmental issue that they want to do something about by developing an awareness raising campaign, fundraising or taking direct action.

It presents an opportunity for children to take the lead in making a difference to their communities and helps them to recognise how they can make a positive contribution as active, young citizens.

The project has been subsidised by some funding but there will be a cost of £160 which includes a full day teach training session (which up to 3 teachers per school can attend), resources to deliver the project and a Celebration Event where a delegation of pupils from each school makes a presentation to an invited audience.

The project starts with a teacher training day on Monday 8th Jan and culminates in a Celebration Event on Monday 2nd July at The Foundling Museum.
