Alcohol Awareness Week – 11th -17th November

Alcohol Awareness Week is less than a month away! This year, the theme is ‘Alcohol and Me‘ and offers schools, clubs and community groups a great opportunity to focus on alcohol issues. Here are some suggestions for you below:

Ideas for getting involved (schools)

  • Hold an assembly with a focus on alcohol awareness
  • Distribute their ‘Alcohol and You’ student guides
  • Have a discussion around alcohol during tutor time
  • Distribute their ‘Talking to Kids about Alcohol’ parent guides
  • Book a parent talk
  • Book a teacher/staff training session
